    Suggestion

This isn't really a problem, per se, but rather a suggestion...

One thing I've always liked to know when browsing forums is to be able to see who the original poster is, as well as who the latest reply comes from.  It's kind of handy if that info is displayed in the thread list, rather than having to dig right into the thread to find out.  I'm not sure how much control you have over the layout, but if you're looking for tweaks, it would be a nice one, IMO.

Reason being, of course, is that I am frequently attracted to posts be specific people, but there are also users who's threads I ignore.  (Anyone who has run into the "Virtual Pizza" guy will understand that, I think.)

    Cheers!

    Ken

Thanks for the suggestion. You can show all forum messages in thread view, either by forum or in you profile. This can be set as a default or you can do it by forum by clicking the 'view' button above a post. Equally this can be sorted ascending or descending in the same way.

I am pretty sure you can also opt to ignore people, but I will look into that. Equally, if we feel there is an issue with a member, I can ban them, or there IP or domain and lots of stuff in between.

I will look into some other options in case this doesn't work for you. The forums can also be accessed via NNTP (OE, Windows mail, etc, etc)

    Re: Suggestion

Hmmm, just has a look at threaded view - and remembered why I elected not to use it ages ago.

Is there any way to use a better threading display, perhaps something like this:

    - just simple nested indenting below the parent comment?

    Rick

I too detest threaded view but unfortunately it's just the two views. I think it can be set up in other readers but I've never tried it. Sorry
